Teeny Tootz is a dance, movement and music class for babies, from birth to pre walking. The class is designed for both parent/carer and baby to enjoy together and provides many bonding opportunities. The music is a mixture of popular music and kiddies favourites, picked to stimulate the body and brain. Baby was rocked and soothed as early as the nine months inside mums tum, then from the early days and weeks after birth, baby will naturally still enjoy these rhythmic rocking and swaying motions. The movements of dance will mimic these motions and feel very familiar to baby. Dance provides important nerve endings in the brain with much needed stimulation. These important nerve endings are the crucial foundation for all learning stages in a babies brain. Each time you dance with your baby the balance sensors in the ears send messages to the brain about all the movements that they are experiencing. This system is vital for posture, balance and coordination. On top of all this, dance also improves and helps develop spacial awareness, rhythm, confidence, social skills, creativity, mood and musicality. We love the class and we are sure you will too!!
